Summer School of the ANIMATAS project hosted and organized by the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
Sean Andrist spoke about Physically Situated Social Agents Microstructure, Jonas Beskow summarized the key aspects of virtual characters and human perception, Roberto Bresin introduced Sound and Music Computing, André Pereira gave us insight about Interactive technologies for embodied social agents and Gabriel Skantze showed the Furhat robots and how to develop social robotic applications with Furhat.
We also had useful hands-on sessions about platforms for situated intelligence, game engine technologies (with unity), visualization, data analysis (with Jupiter notebook) and motion capture.
During the Summer School, we had a round-table session with Bilge Mutlu and Ginevra Castellano. The discussion was insightful and enriched by interesting questions.
