Second Transferable Skills Workshop of the ANIMATAS project. The workshop delved deeper into the definition of educational robotics. Machine learning and educational science methodologies have been merged and tested with the genuine purpose of having a social impact. Senior researchers were invited to talk about their work in the field of technologies in the educational setting: Nikol Rummel, Francesco Mondada, Gautam Biswas, Joakim Gustafsom, Luis Prieto, Tanja Käser.
Hands-on sessions about learning task, student modelling and class orchestration gave valuable insights on the topics. The Cellulo and Thymio robots were showed as compelling tools, designed to be modular and easy to personalize.
